When most of us think of zumba, we picture a room full of women, shimmying and sashaying their way in a perfectly co-ordinated manner across the floor. Right?
Wrong! Women get first dibs on plenty of things (footwear to make us taller, underwear to make us slimmer... so we can't monopolise the workout that gets us fitter!) Zumba, whilst popular amongst women, is almost becoming the class of choice for men. And why not, seeing as many men have a tendency to have two left feet and a lack of co-ordination... if you're one of them, this is the class for you!
Zumba was actually created by a man. Beto Perez, a seriously cool guy from Colombia who knows how to dance. So it's no surprise he has an abundance of cool male friends and a following of swooning women!

Not only is zumba a great way to tone the body, but the moves you learn can be applied to a variety of music genres... and used in a variety of places! We can just image you throwing shapes on a Saturday night as you demonstrate your zumba skills on the dancefloor!

Our zumba class will help you to improve your overall co-ordination with other athletic and day-to-day activities. As zumba features a wide variety of dances and movements, you'll learn how to move your body in different ways and really find your rhythm. (See Point 1!)
MAKE ZUMBA PART OF YOUR STRENGTH TRAINING
Our zumba class will give your lower leg and core muscles a serious workout. Over time, you'll build muscle mass and shape a much more defined physique.
In addition to building strength, you'll also increase your flexibility from all that reaching and stretching. A great option for older men who want to keep their bodies limber!
