Channel your inner boxer and scorch those calories with an expertly led Box N Burn workout at Village Gym Cardiff. This full-body fitness class integrates weight endurance and strength training with foundational boxing techniques and an intense cardio circuit; all designed to raise your heart-rate, speed up your metabolism, and help you burn calories. Every session will give you access to cutting-edge equipment and kit that’ll help you reach your fitness goals.
Every Box N Burn session features:
• 12 sets of 3 minute routines led by our instructors
• Maximum of 12 people per class
• 4 people on each section at a time.
While exercising to House music, you’ll also be using video technology and the advice from our expert trainers to improve your resistance, build your stamina, and tone your body.
The first section is a 3 minute round of working on our water-filled punching bags. This will not only improve hand and foot coordination, but will act as both a practice session of fundamental boxing techniques and as the perfect way to kick off the calorie burn while packing a punch.
The Lift section of the session will see you using our technogym Evo benches to squat, crunch, and press your way through 3 minutes of intense training. This section is designed to help you improve muscular strength and endurance, as well as help you tone and improve your bodily coordination.
Using SkillRuns or SkillMills, the last section of the routine will be focussed purely on stamina. In this section our instructors will lead you through sprints, slide pushes, and side squats to help you elevate your heart-rate, speed up your metabolism, and start torching those pesky calories.
