Lessons for under fours… Swimbabies, the perfect class to introduce your baby to the water.
Have a splash and giggle, enjoy the feel of the water and bond with your baby, alongside all our other Aberdeen mummies and daddies.
Many of our Aberdeen members, view our family memberships, plan their babies’ swimming lessons together for a little socialisation whilst the little ones tread water.
Our Swimtot classes in Aberdeen are perfect for kids between 2 & 4. We focus on learning through playing, your toddlers will start learning the strokes whilst playing games to make their water confidence shine through.
Plus, you’ll be in the water with them too!
Swimtime also offer kids swimming lessons based on your kids experience and ability. Whether your kid is getting to grips with armbands or keen swimmers looking to get more swim badges, we even have a kids class for those who want to push themselves, covering survival and rescue skills.
It’s never too late to learn how to swim!
Whether you’re starting from scratch, improving your breathing, perfecting your stroke or shaking up your fitness routine, we can help.
Prior to your swimming lessons in our Aberdeen gym, we’ve listed our top tips to make sure you’re prepared.
Wear something comfortable. Be practical and comfortable in your cozzie, we’re not fashion judges!
Grab a swimming cap. They keep your hair dry and out of your face as you get used to the water. Plus, you’ll swim a little easier with it all tucked away.
Buy some good goggles to allow you to see under the water. They keep the chlorine out of your eyes and allow you to keep straight in your lane.
Bring a water bottle to stay hydrated. It can be exhausting learning to swim so, don’t be afraid to have some water throughout the lesson.
Bring a snack, maybe a banana straight after the lesson for some good old nutritional goodness.
